I'm pro-life and firmly believe that abortion is murder. In this election, I voted against Amendment 79 which would remove all bans on abortion and fund abortions with tax payer's money.

The culture war concerning abortion is a war of opinions and persuasion. The Dobb Decision was a temporary victory in the fight against abortion, but in hindsight, it seems to have backfired with the statistics going slightly up. This shows that legislation is not always the answer to an issue. Sadly, a landmark pro-life law was not enough to change the number of abortions committed.
From looking at the candidates in running for president, there will not be a federal ban on abortions. Donald Trump who is pro-life said he will let the states decide on abortions. Because states will decide, it's seeming like the Dobb Decision will not affect abortion statistics.
The answer to this crisis is for pro-life Christians to engage in a pro - adoption movement. This is easier said than done. It is easy to vote to pass legislations in the government to save lives. It's a lot harder to go the second mile and actually adopt a child from a mother considering an abortion. Adoption is a complicated and expensive process. So it's understandable that those who want to adopt can't always adopt.
There will probably never be a federal ban on abortion. But the culture war will continue. Pro-life Christians must be ready to face that challenge and win the war of opinions. Adoption will save lives importantly, but will also send the message to the world that life is precious.
